Freedom Bible Study

How is freedom usually defined? Most people would probably include:
The power to act, speak, or think without restraint
Liberty from slavery, oppression, incarceration
Independence
Having civil rights, defined by law
Able to exercise choice – free will
Frankness, boldness Lack of modesty or reserve
Unrestricted use or access
We feel fortunate to live in a “free” country. List some of the things that a democracy gives its citizens freedom to do.

The use of our freedom. God warns us not to let freedom:

A Biblical View Of Freedom. For each of the following verses, discuss “freedom through what?”, “freedom from what?”, and “freedom for what?”

For example, in John 8:31-36, you would discover Freedom through “truth,” Freedom from “slavery to sin,: and Freedom for “becoming part of God’s family.”
