MW: The Ritual Hindu feels that rituals hold the universe together. Ritual Hindus are a people of great faith, unfortunately their faith is misplaced. Christianity has a wonderful message for these people, the sacrifice, ritual, ceremony, everything has been done perfectly.
A Christian missionary could say something like this, “I see that you have great faith in the rituals that have been handed down to you. Can I tell you about the faith that I have in the sacrifice God has made for me? Jesus Christ performed the ultimate ritual for me. Jesus through his grace saves me, no ritual or ceremony of mine is required.” Faith is relying completely on Jesus Christ and his grace. We do not rely on our rituals.KA: Christians can explain faith as submission using Hindu scriptures as a handle. In the Bhagavad-Gita, Arjura finally submits to the duties prescribed by his caste, above all other obligations (Eerdmans, 182). In Christianity, faith is submission to the will of God.
